Abstract

Overlaid layers a blue portrait with a dense network of intersecting lines—routes that resemble nerves, maps, currents, or wires. Rather than presenting adaptation as a smooth “fit,” the work shows it as continual negotiation: the self recalibrating across social, cultural, and geographic forces. The portrait becomes a record of rerouting—survival, translation, and becoming.
